Biography

Stephanie qualified as a Solicitor in 2024. She sits in the Charity Property department and specialises in charity and commercial property law.

She provides a direct and proactive approach and also advises the sale and acquisition of both freehold and leasehold residential properties; including landlord and tenant issues, assured shorthand tenancies and all other aspects of residential property transaction.

Clients are grateful for Stephanie’s confidence and tenacity when faced with highly stressful situations as a result of unexpected complications developed amid their land transactions. Stephanie remains calm and is passionate towards providing clients with multiple solutions as expeditiously as possible, to satisfy the best outcome for the charity, company or individual in any transaction.

  • Advising a charitable incorporated organisation (CIO) with the disposal of part of their land for development
  • Advising trustees of a religious charity with the acquisition for a new place of residence
  • Advising 18 leaseholders in the same building towards their rights and implications under the existing lease in relation to the freeholder’s development to the building
  • Advising an existing and well-known religious order in relation to their tenants’ surrender and re-grants of new lease, together with lease renewals for a parade of commercially owned units
  • Advising on first registration applications and trust reviews for religious charities
  • Advising on the first registration of a large, unregistered farmland together with further advice on the various disposals and transfers in accordance with the relevant will trusts.
  • Assisting the Church and Charities team with the CIO conversion for unincorporated charitable trusts
