Biography
Amandeep joined PWW as a solicitor in the private client team in April 2024, having taken a year out to spend time with his family after the birth of his daughter.
Recent Experience
- Managing a varied case load involving in aspects of Wills, tax advice and estate administration
- Estate administration ranging from small estates to large complex estates (up to £3million) which includes multi-national jurisdictions, agricultural property relief and woodland relief
- Preparing and finalising IHT400, Legal Statements and Estate Accounts
- Advising clients on Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax and Income Tax
- Drafting and advising clients on a variety of Wills including mirrored Wills, single person Wills, right to occupy, life interest trusts, business discretionary trust, nil rate band discretionary trust and discretionary trust Wills
- Preparation and registration of Lasting Powers of Attorney and Enduring Powers of Attorney
- Preparing and finalising Capital Gains Tax Assents, Memorandum of Appropriation and Income Tax Returns
- Dealing with and preparing various private client documentation including, deeds of gift and declarations of trusts
- Registering trusts with HM Revenue & Customs Trust Registration Service
