Wills that require complex tax planning and/or have other complications that necessitate several meetings, will be charged at an hourly rate or a higher fixed fee amount. Where higher fixed fees are agreed, these will be notified to you in advance and will include 20% VAT.

Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs)
There are two types of LPA – Property and Financial Affairs and Health and Welfare (all fees exclude the registration fee due to the Office of the Public Guardian – currently £82 per document).

Deputyships
These are charged at our standard hourly rates which may be subject to 20% taxation by the courts.
A straightforward registration of a deputyship (with no complications) is estimated at £2,000 – £2,500 (£2,400 – £3,000 inc. 20% VAT)
Disbursements
Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties. We handle the payment of the disbursements on your behalf to ensure a more streamlined process. Likely disbursements included in this price range of fees:
