Cloistered nuns are called to give their lives to praising God and interceding for his people.

These communities welcome all who wish to join in the celebration of the Liturgy of the Hours and enjoy the Solitude necessary for more intense personal prayer.

The Trustees make grants, loans and bursaries to these communities. The objects are to relieve poverty amongst the communities and to promote the education of the individual members for the furtherance of contemplative life.

Grants and loans, usually up to a maximum of £10,000 are available to assist with significant capital expenditure. Bursaries, usually up to a maximum of £300 are made for the benefit of individual members attending courses, retreats, meetings and counselling. Grants and bursaries are only made to the community and not directly to individuals.

If you would like more information about the grants, loans and bursaries available, or if you are able to support the Trust, please contact the Trust Administrator at Pothecary Witham Weld Solicitors, 70 St George’s Square, London SW1V 3RD, or call on 020 7821 8211, or email us by clicking here.
